Sampa, Jaman North — The Member of Parliament for Jaman North, Frederick Yaw Ahenkwaa, has donated GH¢30,000 toward upgrading the toilet facilities at the Agriculture Vocational Technical Institute (AVOTECH), officially known as Our Lady of Fatima Technical Institute, in Sampa. The funds, as presented and announced, will be used to renovate the institution’s toilet facilities.
Access to adequate sanitation facilities is essential for vocational and technical institutions such as AVOTECH, which serve a growing number of students and staff. The donation addresses ongoing infrastructure challenges in educational institutions within the district. Constituency representatives noted that a healthy learning environment supports student performance and well-being. Improving sanitation facilities is expected to reduce disruptions to student life and instructional time.

The GH¢30,000 donation follows previous investments by Hon. Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick in educational infrastructure in Jaman North.
