The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, convened a meeting with party stakeholders in the region to discuss internal reorganization, party unity, and current development initiatives.
Participants included regional executives, Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), constituency executives, ward coordinators, and members of the Council of Elders. The agenda covered party organization and governance priorities.
The Minister reported that the meeting focused on preparations for an upcoming reorganization exercise. Discussions addressed discipline, unity, and the importance of cohesion throughout the party structure to support coordination and ongoing activities.
Dr. Amoakohene provided an update on government interventions in the Ashanti Region, including projects focused on infrastructure, service delivery, and local economic growth.
Stakeholders raised issues regarding grassroots mobilization, local development, and community welfare. The leadership team presented strategies to address these concerns and discussed ways to improve engagement between party structures and local communities.
The Minister stated that aligning party organization with national development objectives requires collaboration between leadership and grassroots members.
“We remain committed to building a stronger, more united front to support government priorities and improve the livelihoods of our people,” he said.
